Vibe is a personal music streaming app that connects to your self-hosted Jellyfin server. Your listening experience is yours — this policy explains what data Vibe handles and how we treat it.
Information We Collect
To create and manage your account, Vibe collects:
- Email address — used solely to authenticate your account
- User ID — an internal identifier assigned at account creation to link your account data
This information is stored securely via Supabase and is used exclusively for app functionality. It is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for tracking.
Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect your name, phone number, or physical address
- We do not track your location
- We do not collect analytics or usage data
- We do not build advertising profiles
- We do not share your data with third parties for advertising purposes
Data Stored on Your Device
Your listening history and app preferences are stored locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
Music Streaming
Vibe streams music directly from your personal Jellyfin server. We do not host or have access to your music library. Network requests to your server are made only on your behalf and are not logged or stored by us.
Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your account at any time from the Settings screen inside the app. Deleting your account removes your email address and user ID from our systems immediately.
Children's Privacy
Vibe is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes meaningfully, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of Vibe after any change constitutes acceptance.
