Need help getting set up or running into an issue? You're in the right place.

Before you begin

What is Jellyfin?

Jellyfin is free software you install on your own computer that turns it into a personal music server. ViBE connects to your Jellyfin server to stream your music. ViBE does not store or host any music — it plays what's already on your server.

Getting connected
1

Install Jellyfin

Download and install Jellyfin on your computer from jellyfin.org. During setup, point it to the folder where your music is stored.

2

Find your server address

Open Jellyfin in a browser — the address bar shows your server URL. It will look something like http://192.168.1.100:8096 on your home network, or your own domain name if you've set up remote access.

3

Enter it in ViBE

Open ViBE, go to Settings, and enter your server address. That's it — your music library will appear.

What you can do
🎵

⬇️

Offline Downloads

Download albums to your device and listen without an internet connection. Find your downloads in the Offline tab.

📋

🎨

Dynamic Themes

ViBE adapts its colors to match the album artwork of whatever you're listening to.

Common questions

The app says it can't connect

Make sure your Jellyfin server is running and your device has a network connection. Double-check that the server address in Settings is correct.

My music isn't showing up

Pull down to refresh on the Home or Library screen. If music is still missing, make sure Jellyfin has finished scanning your music folder.

A downloaded track won't play offline

Delete the download and try again. In the Offline tab, open the album and remove it, then re-download from the album page.
